Then ask: How such a building can be so appropriate to it's location that even though it is new, it looks like it has always been there? How it can be barrier-free, yet not appear the least bit institutional? How can the home-as-system function to faciliate rather than frustrate and challenge? Answering these questions is the basis of our design process.
